HUNGER NETWORK OF GREATER CLEVELAND

Stopping Hunger in its Tracks

Now more than ever before the Hunger Network needs you to help us stop hunger in its tracks. In this current economic environment, more hungry people are coming to our centers for emergency food than ever before. Our 1000 volunteers are working hard to put nutritious food directly into the hands of those in need. With food and fuel costs escalating, the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland is scrambling to remain a safety net for the 60,000 people who receive food from our food pantries and hot meal programs every month.

The Hunger Network has to purchase 95% of the food we give away and there are many ways you can help us. You can help by going to our website and donating on line, or you can write a check to the Hunger Network.

Your company could sponsor events, put together a walk team for the Walk for Hunger or conduct a food drive. Volunteering at one of our food centers can be very rewarding. How about giving a holiday or birthday honorarium, this is a great way to let someone know you care and help the Hunger Network at the same time? You can conduct a food drive, knowing the food you collect will go directly to someone who is hungry.

Help the Hunger Network by giving a planned gift, make the Hunger Network as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or by naming the Hunger Network in you will. There are many ways to make a planned gift.
