Through Beverage Distributors, a long time Hunger Network donor, a special partnership was developed several years ago with Heineken to support the Hunger Network and sponsor the annual Walk for Hunger.

The story of the Heineken family, the brand and the company is no ordinary one. A small 19th-century local brewer has grown into a worldwide business with the most valuable international premium beer brand.

Heineken sees itself as an integral part of the local and global communities in which it operates. Through their sponsorships they work to contribute to the community by encouraging positive enjoyable events.

In 1979 Marc Glassman opened his first store in Middleburg Heights. The company now operates more than 50 Marc's stores throughout Ohio. As a dedicated member of the community, Marc Glassman Inc attempts to fulfill its civic duties by partnering with the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland.

The Hunger Network is a perfect fit... a local organization working to feed hungry people. Through annual initiatives like Marc's Feed the Children Campaign and the Hunger Network's Walk for Hunger, Marc's is able to raise substantial funds which are all donated back to help feed the hungry right here in Northeast Ohio.
