Wednesday, Feb. 26th marked the inaugural All About the Bag Fashion Benefit in support of the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland.
Presented by Tradesmen International, this first-time event remarkably sold out as a crowd of over 400 fashion-forward Clevelanders filled Landerhaven. The evening started with hors d’oeuvres and a full bar for all to enjoy. Attractions such as a Mini Cooper Raffle, sponsored by Classic Auto Group and a Jewelry Raffle, sponsored by Alson Jewelers, were huge hits with the crowd! An additional auction was featured, including a vast array of items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as a Chanel handbag, dinner for 4 at Table 45, and tickets to a Cleveland Indians game with a private tour of Progressive Field, were also popular amongst party-goers.
Co-hosts comedian Mike Polk, Jr and Shannon Davidson of 19 Action News led the way to an unforgettable fashion show! Produced by Beachwood Place, the fashion show started with exquisite looks featured from Saks Fifth Avenue. Then celebrity models and Hunger Heroes dressed to dazzle strutted their stuff on the Hunger Network Runway styled in looks from various popular stores in Beachwood Place.
Overall, it was a beautiful evening that raised over $60,000 to help feed hungry families in our community. Every dollar raised for the Hunger Network can be stretched to provide 4 meals in our 100 hunger centers throughout Cuyahoga County, which means the All About the Bag Fashion Benefit provided 240,000 meals for hungry Clevelanders. WOW – it truly IS all about the bag at the Hunger Network!
